PROJECT MANAGEMENT
All Sewell Engineering projects are managed by a dedicated project manager with many years of experience in the appropriate field. Taking the project from initial contract award, through the design, supply and installation phases, right through to the completion of the defects liability period, ensuring a smooth and accountable process meeting the requirements of Client, Consultants, Main contractor, building end-users, and the employees who make it possible.
DESIGN & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
All BIM/CAD design coordination, development & detailing work is undertaken in-house at Banksmeadow by our fully qualified and highly experienced designers and draftspeople. We take the clients vision and develop custom-designs to suit the unique requirements of each individual project.
PROCUREMENT
Sewell Engineering specialises in the importation of bulk custom aluminium extrusion, custom laminated glass, and prefabricated architectural components for major projects.
PRODUCTION & MANUFACTURING
We utilise an extensive network of trusted supply-chain partners Throughout the Sydney Metro area and overseas. Specialist Processes including profiling, bending, folding, CNC & Beam-line, galvanising, protective coatings, powder-coating, anodising, linishing, electro-polishing etc
PLANNING & RISK ASSESSMENT
All Sewell Engineering operations and specialised tasks are subject to detailed planning & high-risk assessment workshops (HRWS). All site work is undertaken by fully trained direct employees, under supervision of qualified OH&S supervisors, following pre-approved Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and Safe Operating Procedures (SOP).
DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
On site project offices and compounds can be established for larger contracts. Each project benefits from a team of dedicated Project Manager(s), Site Manager(s), Supervisor(s), and Trades Operatives.
All materials are pre-stacked for just-in-time, in-sequence, delivery and unloading on certified liftable stillages to save time and space.
This ensures complete co-ordination and interaction with all stake holders on all issues, not limited to: Safety, Q.A., Design, Supply, Programme, Sequencing, Certification & Regulatory Compliance.
